TEATRO EN INGLÉS

Sabemos que el teatro conecta al niño con el mundo del arte y le abre las puertas de la sensibilidad estética, de la reflexión, de la capacidad de emocionarse, reir y llorar, de comprender diferentes visiones y realidades de la vida y del mundo, pero en esta ocasión, además le favorece el aprendizaje de inglés.

 Nuestros alumnos de 4º, 5º y 6º de Primaria han participado como actores espontáneos en la adaptación de la obra de R.L. Stevenson “La isla del tesoro”, que se ha representado en el Centro Cultural “García Lorca” de Otura, comportándose como auténticos piratas han ayudado a los artistas a interpretar el mapa, preparar la comida, andar como piratas con "pata de palo"etc, etc.

“We go to the Theatre”

            Last Wednesday, March 30th our 4th, 5th, and 6th level students attended an English theatre performance called "Treasure Island".  It was put on by the theatre company Face 2 Face in the Federico Garcia Lorca Theatre in Otura. 

Before attending the performance, the English teachers prepared some activities in order to motivate the children and improve their understanding of the plot and characters.

During the performance of the show, the children sang and danced along to the songs "Yellow Bird" and "Drunken Sailor." Some of the children were even invited on stage to become actors for a day!  We all had a lot of fun!
